Pilates
Pilates is a system of repetitive exercises performed on a yoga mat or other equipment to promote strength, stability, and flexibility. Pilates exercises develop the body through muscular effort that stems from the core. The technique cultivates awareness of the body to support everyday movements that are efficient and graceful.
A Pilates class can look very different depending on the needs of the client/class. Whether it is contemporary or classic, with or without equipment and/or props, Pilates has a way of challenging your body to work in different ways. Each session will be tailored to your needs to help you feel successful in connecting to your body. Pilates is meant for every body and everybody can do Pilates, and benefit from it!
“You will feel better in ten sessions, look better in twenty sessions, and have a completely new body in thirty sessions.” - Joseph Pilates
